User Maintenance

The following window is displayed when you select Personnel - Users from the Maint Menu.


Full Name

The proper (full) name for the user.

Login Name

The short name the user will use to Login.
NOTE: This must be unique.

Access Level

Select an appropriate access level from the list. This will determine which windows they can access and what they can change within them.

Multi Cust Reports

Security Option: If checked then this user will be allowed to print reports that contain multiple customers (e.g. Condensed Report).

Password

The password must be entered twice in order to be accepted.
NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive.

When you move to a previously entered User the user name and login name are locked to prevent accidental overwriting. Clicking this button unlocks them.

If this is visible then the record has been marked for deletion and will not be available after the next removal of deleted records action.
(The 'Remove Deleted Records' function can be found in the maintenance menu.)

Default User

When 1stBase is supplied to you a default user is already defined:-

User: Supervisor
Password: super (NOTE: The password is lower case)

We recommend that you change the password or delete the supervisor account immediately. This is because it is documented here.
