Call Reasons Maintenance |
The following window is displayed when you select LookUp Codes - Call Reasons from the Maint Menu. Call Reasons are assigned to appointments you make for your Area Managers, in fact an appointment cannot be made unless a reason is assigned to it. The reason is printed in the Area Managers Diary. |

This is a shorthand version of the description and is limited to 5 characters in length. As space on the Area Managers Diary Report is limited it is this that is printed. |
Category | Call reasons categorised by type (either Sales or Service) which is used to match them to their Appointment counterparts. (i.e. a Sales Appointment can only have a Sale Call Reason.) |
When you move to a previously entered Call Reason the description text is locked to prevent accidental overwriting. Clicking this button unlocks the text. |

If this is visible then the record has been marked for deletion and will not be available after the next removal of deleted records action. (The 'Remove Deleted Records' function can be found in the maintenance menu.) |
