Product Registration |
The following window is displayed when you select Product Registration from the Administration, Sales Menu. |
Incept Date |
This is the date the machine was first known to you. Where the record has been created due to a stock item being brought into stock when Location Tracking is enabled then this record is created for you together and its Incept Date is the date it was received into stock. |
Serial Number | A unique serial must be provided for this machine. Where the record has been created due to a stock item being brought into stock when Location Tracking is enabled then this record is created for you together and its Serial Number is transferred from the Product Receipt window. |
Current Status |
This is view only and corresponds to the last entry in the history table. |
Stock Details | Each Product must be assigned to a corresponding Stock Record and the assignment is displayed here. To change the assignment use the Assign button. |
Use this button to change the Stock Record Assignment. A LookUp window is displayed so that you can select the Stock Record. Note that only stock items flagged for Location Tracking can be assigned. |

Use this button to add a new line to the History table. |

Warranty Expiry |
The warranty expiry date. This can be optionally be displayed in the customer window. The setting for this is under Maint, System, Global System Settings. |
Retrieve To Stock | If checked then the machine must be retrieved from its current location into stock. This machine will be listed in the Product Retrievals Report. |
Date Col |
The date of the action described in the adjacent column. When adding a new line this is set automatically for you. |
Status Col |
The new status of the machine at the action date. |
Customer Col |
The customer to which the machine is assigned at the action date. A LookUp window is displayed so that you can select the customer. |
Sales#1/2 | Each action can be assigned up to two Sales people. When the Product is sold then the people set here are used in the Sales/Commission Report. |
Warranty Card | Set this to the requirement you desire. This determines whether a Warranty Card needs to be printed. Note: Warranty Card printing is not yet available but is intended as a future enhancement. |
Co-Ordinator | Select the Sales Co-ordinator that will receive commission on the sale of this machine. |
Tele-Sales |
Select the Tele-Sales person that will receive commission on the sale of this machine. |
Displays the Customer Verification record for this machine. |

Price | The price the machine was sold at. This is used in the Coordeinator, Sales & Sales Support Commission Reports in order to calculate the payable commissions and is cross-referenced to the commission structure in the assigned Stock Record. |
Comm Split | When two Sales people are assigned to a Product that has been sold then this setting determines the commission split between them. If left blank then the split is 50/50 otherwise the setting applies to Sales person #1, Sales person #2 receiving the remainder. (e.g. if set to 70 then Sales#1 gets 70% whilst Sales#2 gets 30%.) |
Auto | When checked commission on this sale for Coordinator, Sales & Sales Support personnel will be calculated automatically when the next commission reports are printed. |
Sales | Commission amount for the specified Sales people against this sale. If 'Auto' is checked then this field is unavailable and the commission is calculated automatically. |
Co-Ordinator | Commission amount for the specified Coordinator against this sale. If 'Auto' is checked then this field is unavailable and the commission is calculated automatically. |
Sales Support | Commission amount for the specified Sales Support person against this sale. If 'Auto' is checked then this field is unavailable and the commission is calculated automatically. |
If this is visible then the record has been marked for deletion and will not be available after the next removal of deleted records action. (The 'Remove Deleted Records' function can be found in the maintenance menu.) |
