Email Menu

1stBase allows you to send emails to your customers either singly or in bulk.

It also allows Appointments to be emailed to Sales and Service Engineers

In order for the email function to succeed you must have the following:-

- An internet connection.
- An internet account that allows you to send email.
- Email settings are common to all users and can be found in Global System Settings


This Record

Email options for the current customer record.

Records Within…

Email options for a group of customer records selected by user defined criteria .
Set Criteria displays the Report/Canvass Criteria window so that you can define the record selection parameters

Send A Predefined Email

Displays the ‘Select Email Template’ window so that you can select and send an email to a single or number of customers.
Note: Email Templates are similar to Letter Templates but are flagged as Emails in the Letter Template Maintenance window. To maintain templates use Maint, Templates/Forms, Letter Templates.

Compose An Email

Displays the Compose Email window so that you can send an ad-hoc email to a single or number of customers.

Appointments Emails appointnments to Sales and/or Service Engineers for a specified period. Again the email is based on a pre-defined template. The template can be formatted to send one email per appointment or one containing the entire list.
