11	Maint Menu

The Maint Menu provides all the required system maintenance functions for 1stBase:-

Letter Templates	Definitions of letter templates used by 1stBase..
Label Templates	Definitions of label templates used by 1stBase.
Envelope Templates	Definitions of envelope templates used by 1stBase.
Forms	Assignment: Assigns forms used by 1stBase for Invoices, Price Lists etc. Designer: Opens the UniForm forms designer (if installed) which allows form template maintenance.
Report Print Options	Configures various settings for the 1stBase reports.
Printer Bin Selection	Sets the target printer bins and paper orientation for printed output.
Customer Groupings	Change, add or deduplicate Customer Groupings.
Call Reasons	Maintenance of Call Reasons for Service and Sales appointments.
Appointment Time Modifers	Maintenance of Time Modifiers for Appointments.
Appointment Time Slots	Maintenance of pre-defined Appointment Time Slots
Sales Commission Rates	Maintenance of Commission Rates on sales for Sales Personnel - FUTURE USE and not currently applied. Commission rate structure for Sales Personnell is presently defined in Product Maintenance for each sale of products flagged for location tracking - see Product Maintenance and Product Registration.
Service Contracts	Maintenance of Service Contract Types and commission.
Servide Commission Rates	Maintenance of Commission Rates for Service Engineers sales.
Stock Groups	Maintenance of Product (stock) groupings.
VAT Rates	Change, add or deduplicate VAT Rates.
Users	Change or add Users and set passwords and access levels.
Sales Coordinators	Change or add Sales Coordinators.
Sales	Change or add Sales Personnell.
Sales Support	Change or add Sales Support personnel.
Engineers	Change or add Service Engineers.
Reset Invoice Number	Determines the next invoice number 1stBase will use.
Local System Settings	Sets 1stBase configuration options that apply to the system on this PC only.
Global System Settings	Sets 1stBase configuration options that apply to all users of the system.
Data Encryption	Determines whether 1stBase uses data encryption in the databases.
Remove Software Key	Facilitates move of the 1stBase software key back to the KeyDisk.
Status	Shows a summary of the number of records and deleted records in various categories.
Remove Deleted…	This option removes all records marked for deletion from all databases. (NOTE: De-duplicate of LookUp Codes for Areas, Customer Types Or Customer Groups is done in the relevant maintenance window.) The option is also given for you to select the sorting order applicable to your national language.
